In the waiting, reference this verse!

As many people experience throughout their life, seasons come with challenges. In our home, we have many opportunities to practice prayer, then to have trust and faith in the process in waiting for the outcome.

  • Should I change jobs?

  • Should we spend the money we saved?

  • Do I really have to talk it out with someone I am in a disagreement with?

  • Should we let our child go with their friends to an event?

  • Do we have time for more commitments?

We may not always get the answer right away, but we are asked and expected to trust that it will work itself out in time if we just ask for wisdom to make the right choices along the way. I love in this verse that it says, "without fault." God is not going to ask me to right everything I have done wrong first before guiding me. (A lesson I need to be better at in parenting.) He gives us direction and discipline with compassion. Thank goodness!

It is NEVER easy to wait for an answer, but if we ask and wait patiently…. it is always worth it.
