Epidemic of Stress and Sacrificing Yourself

One of the topics that is near and dear to my heart is educator wellness and reducing burnout. My master's thesis dissertation revolved around reducing educator burnout and increasing student achievement in the process. In my research and focus groups, your mental wellness affects student engagement significantly. The results following the educator mental health and wellness professional development I implemented showed an increase of teacher engagement and ability to handle their workload and stress when they focused on their own well-being and emotional health. The study also showed a positive gain in the teacher's perception of students willingness to learn each day.

The results have led me to the belief that more professional development and resources need to be provided to encourage teachers to take care of themselves and focus on their well-being. So, let's do that!

We NEED you. Our students need YOU.
